When should you get your water tested?

Testing of your water by a licensed professional is the key to determining if you have a water problem and what solution is needed to protect your home.
  • If you’ve recently moved
  • If you get your water from a private well
  • If you notice changes in taste or odor
  • If you start to see spots, stains or scale buildup
  • If your family suffers from recurring gastrointestinal illnesses

Advanced water testing

If you have more complex water worries, recently moved or own a private well, you may require an advanced test from Culligan Water's EPA-certified lab in Illinois. Culligan tests for:
  • Arsenic Arsenic
  • Lead Lead
  • E-Coli E. Coli
  • Nitrates Nitrates
With the option to test for dozens of additional contaminants including copper, radon, POAs/PFOAs, microscopic bacteria, manganese and more.

Well water testing

As an individual well owner, it is up to you to make sure that your water is safe to drink. The EPA recommends all private wells be tested annually for coliform bacteria, nitrates, arsenic and other dangerous contaminants.
